The Soundstage is currently the driving force behind most of the ideas running through my mind. It has become the centre of where things begin.
Energy and emotion are released, opening up space and giving me the momentum to create something new. I call it The Sound Behind the Vision. I honestly cannot think of a more accurate way to describe it.
My current artistic projects now begin with sound, rather than with the image, which is how things used to be. And, to be completely honest, after more than three decades in which the image or the film scene set the tone, and probably had to, things have now turned completely around.

My new single No Safe Ground led me into what feels like a new era and a little while later, No Safe Ground found its way to York Calling in the UK. Their words about the song were a lovely surprise, and a reminder of why making music still feels worth doing.
